Today, that experience allows Martha to connect deeply with clients who are searching for the same feeling of home in Nova Scotia’s coastal communities.
Before beginning her real estate career, Martha spent more than fifteen years as a full-time caregiver for her mother-in-law, providing 24-hour care. That chapter of her life shaped the way she approaches both life and business today, with patience, compassion, and a deep understanding that home is often the center of life’s most meaningful moments.
During that time, Martha also opened her own floral studio, designing arrangements for celebrations, special events, and everyday events. Through her small business, she built lasting relationships within her community while helping people celebrate life’s important milestones.
When the COVID-19 pandemic forced many small businesses to close, including her floral studio as a non-essential service, Martha chose to turn the challenge into an opportunity. She returned to college and earned a certificate in Social Media Marketing, gaining valuable skills in digital strategy, branding, and online communication.
Today, those skills help her market homes effectively and ensure her sellers receive modern, professional marketing designed to reach the right buyers.
Martha also brings an educational approach to real estate as the author of The Path To Home™, a guide that helps buyers overcome fear and move confidently toward homeownership.
